and one more queastion maybe u know a program that open CUES without BURNING?

i mean that i have an FULL RIP CD in one big MP3 track, how can i split it?

The best way to get cd > mp3:

Rip the cd with Exact Audio Copy (EAC)

encode it with the LAME encoder (i.e. Razorlame)


then, the cues:

dl the winamp cue plugin (mp3cue 0.94) and use them in in winamp

what do you mean with open? if u want to adjust it open it in .txt format (wordpad)

CDEX is a good program and its free Filter - Take a Picture was good in 2000, Kidn of lame now

first: winamp
then: any mp3 compressor

I use winamp to do all my encoding, listening, decoding, etc.
The only problem is that Winamp doesn't come with an MP3 codec. You can get the codec in the latest version of windows media player, or you can PM me and I'll hook you up wiht the proffessional version of Vernhoffers (or whatever his name is) MP3 codec.

Ok, so you have a full-length set in mp3 format, and you have the cue file for it? If you want to split the file into the individual tracks easily, I suggest using the program musiCutter. Google it, it'll find it. You should be able to figure the program out, it's pretty easy. I think that's what you mean, right?

i think that's what he means. i've also been wanting to do this. i have a set list and the .cue sheet but i don't want to have to burn the bitch to a cd and then rip the cd just for the individual mp3's.

So, what is a program that can split up large mp3 files, such as a set, into individual tracks based on a .cue file? This way, i can avoid that middle step of burning the set to cd...
