i use shampoo for the hair and soap for the body, shower gel/bodywash dries the skin far too much imo

I'm the exact opposite of you.. IMO soap dries the skin too much.. Shower gels are usually pH matched so that they have the same pH as your skin and thus shouldn't dry it at all..

theres soap that does this as well, although they cost a little more.

I like body wash

Usually doesn't dry my skin out as much as soap, and soap smells yucky.

Which ever one suits me.

Until about two weeks ago i've always used bodywash, but now i only use soap bars

That bodywash stuff. Soap is too annoying.

I use that dodgy Lynx shower gel with moisturiser in it. Not only is it less drying than soap, it's fun too! The shower gel and moisturiser are separate entities until you shake it. What joy! Then after a while they magically separate back into two entities again. Woo!
