Ok here's my situation, a friend of mine is gonna be a dad in a month or so. And he has quite a few sl-1200s laying around. He offered to sell me his practically brand new sl-1200mk5g "grandmaster" edition (less than 5hours of use) and a sl-1210mk2 (in great condition) both for $650. Now i really don't need 4 turntables but he won't sell me just the mk5g by itself. So should i buy em and sell the mk2 for $250 or so and keep the mk5g as a third deck or should i avoid buying the decks all together? Another option, should i buy both decks and sell both seperately, like sell the mk2 for $300 and and mk5g for $450 and make some cash?
I really wanna help him out but i don't really have too much money to spend on dj stuff lately.

if i were you, i would at least keep the mk5g and sell one of your mk2's. its a great price for them, and 3 decks is great fun if you have the space!
if you havent really got the money, then you can help him out by pointing him in the direction of ebay

Friend or no friend this is a chance to make some money and get an equipment upgrade. Buy it, sell what you don't need / want. It will be perfect.
