I would have to say that GTA San will outsell Halo 2. In my area the GTA game pre-order list has over 100 people on it.

If Doom 3 is released this year, I think that will be the highest selling game of the year. Or maybe even Half Life 2..

Due to the fact that there are more PS2's out there than Xbox's, and the fact that a very large percentage of those PS2 owners like GTA, Im betting that GTA will sell better.

And Doom 3 has an announced release date of August 2nd. Hopefully that release date remains true.

i'm sorry to say but i really hate halo. anything halo. all xbox fanboys al they talk about is halo this and halo that. yeah that is the only game good for that system. other than that, the other good games are pretty much ports of other systems damn copycatters. no originality.

somoeone said that halo is a great first person shooter cause u can hold two guns at the same time and fire at them with the triggers, u can lobe grenades, u can man vehicles. uh yeah!!!!! u can do the same thing on red faction 1 and 2 which is the firt game to do that. also multiplayer. that is why i hate halotosis

that's the most shallow description i've read of halo ever yes halo is all those things but it's goes a lot deeper. it was innovative in so many ways when it came out. there's a reason why it holds so many accolades.

first and foremost is the co-op single player. it has set the stage for many FPS's that have been developed since then to contain this feature. not only does it add an all-new atmosphere to the game but it is crazy fun don't forget the drivable vehicles as well.

the AI was another reason, excellent enemies that act very much like you would in a firefight along with a very well executed storyline. i only begin to scrape the surface of halo but anybody, whether they dislike halo or love it to death, cannot deny its impact on its genre.

as for the "that's the only good game for that system". i'll have you know there are a helluva lot of good titles for xbox only. ninja gaiden, chronicles of riddick: escape from butcher bay, crimson skies: high road to revenge, mechassault, to name a few. and no, the majority of xbox games are not made up of "ported" games, many of its games spans all 3 game consoles cause they were released at the same time.

so do some research before ranting off like a lunatic. nuff said.

In my area GTA will beat HAlo 2. But I HATE fucking GTA(dont like it since GTA3).

Oh man you forgot Multiplayer(offline). I think thats what I love about Halo so much. Playing 12 players in the same room.

halo is okay. its a decent game to play but i still prefer red faction or UT (the original) over halo. anyways GTA will definitely beat out Halo and doom

the first half of halo is my fav single player fps experience. 2nd half was kinda lame until the end. Anyways, Halo had originality in it's environment, the physics of the game were beyond anything else released *at the time*, and the story was very great.

GTA San Andreas will be awseme and most likely outsell Halo, because it will be released on PS2, Xbox and PC...duh
