i have d/led a lot of "live at trance energy" or "live at cream @ amnesia" of various artists and a lot of the time they are great sets. I have had a few that just didnt appeal to me too much, even though they were the kind of music i was looking for. I saw oakey at summerfest a few days ago and his set was awesome. What im wondering is, what do YOU think the perfect set is. What defines the perfect set, in your opinion?

Diversity, good mixing, and the the music has to feel... Alive. Not necessarily energetic, but... I dunno what I'm talking about. :P
Take "Way Out West - Apollo". Not energetic, but there sure is something special about it...

crowd, compression of set (the quality etc), length, track selection and overall bangingness/mixing of the set.
also without an mc is a bonus, i fucking hate mcs + trance.
