i crushed an altoid and sniffed it in the eighth grade, persuaded me to never try the real stuff

I snort red pepper flakes when I have a cold. It clears me right out.

I actually did this with pepper, once. I couldn't bear the pressure in my nose any longer. It provided about fifteen minutes of relief from the congestion... but I spent the period crying from the pain of the pepper.
