Sorry if this is a ultra noob question here but i seem to be experiencing some lag when using the playback in cubase and in my mixdown. My machine is a 2.8 gig with 1 gig memory, the sound card is a sonic explosion. Should this be happening?

mmm usually the most common cause for latency is buffer settings, check these. Also check your ASIO settings.

Thanks man, i did all that but ive just noticed that the pops only appear when Battery is active on BD's. If i mute that channel no pops or clicks appear on the rest of my track. Maybe its Battery thats the problem?
