I know they're fairly new but has anyone had a go on the new EMU 0404 DSP card yet? (http://www.dv247.com/invt/22115) 70 quid for an audio card that includes an EMU DSP chip with on-board effects can't be bad surely! You can just route your VSTis to it and take the burden off your CPU. I'm sure there is a catch though! Anyone with more experience of soundcards see anything strange in the specs?
Cheers

Superb, you'll have to let me know how you get on with it. I dropped one of the guys at Emu an e-mail about it and apparently you will be able to add extra effects to it at a later date aswell!

But the 0404 does not include a dedicated headphone output. For that I can purchase a headphone amp (http://www.zzounds.com/cat--Headphone-Amps--2375) or better- pair of studio monitors and 1/8" to 1/4" cables.
