Seriously though...some people swear by thier citronic technics ripoffs, and i've heard alot of great things about "reloop" turntables. I would still say that technics are the best for sure though, but dont be one of these people who are like... "WTF TECHNICS OR STFU" "where r t3h technics d00d?" Being narrow minded when it comes to equipment doesnt make you a good dj...
I just said that since I was talking to him on MSN, and at one point I jokingly dared him to make a stupid post like that...and well he did.
As for choosing decks, Techs ain't the only decks that are great to mix on, I'm not biased or anything, you have the series that has the internals of the Stanton STR-150, then the TTX which alot of people like, and then I think I've heard good thinks about those Audio-Technica ones above, so really its whatever does the job fine without screwing up, and so far these decks can do that.

Coincedently (sp) I have a pair of Gemini's PT2100's tho.. and they work absolutely fine for me... and its not hard to adjust to my mates (prod.child) Techs when I am at his place spinning... as for the AudioTechnica ones, I have heard alot about them, but I would defineatly want to try em...

To tell the truth i own str8-100's and there perfect for a home setup to learn on, cuz they make it alot easer when your playing out. works on your vinil controll loads cuz the startup time of the record isint any slower then on tecs its just the plater require a lighter touch, which in the end helps you mixe better cuz your not pushing down on the plater as much and it will also help with the needel skiping. Anyways thats my 2 am rant on my decks
