Another newbie question.

Can someone direct me to a tutorial or something of a similar nature that describes how to successfully create melodies with FL. Thanks.

Haha. Lol. I'm looking for something that can help me get better. I mean, I understand the basics and I can make a melody. Just would like to learn some tricks and get better. You know?

here is the answer to your question... it worked for me, and should work for you.

1)open fl studio, and open the piano roll of you sound of choice

2)start with the key your song is composed in

3)find a chicken suit, can only be yellow, no white or black ones, or any other color for that matter

4)put the chicken suit on

5)start clucking frantically as a chicken with your background loops playing, and the melody should magically appear.

i made some good sh*t doing this, let me know how it worked for you!
