Anchorman looks like a movie that's trying too hard to appeal to the comedic aspects of life. From the previews, it doesn't seem like there's any worth to the film. Just a jackass on the screen making tired old jokes in an attempt to keep his career still going.
King Arthur is going off a tale that most children hear when they are younger, and looks as though it actually has the potential to be a good film. |
well since i actually saw achorman, i can tell you that these are one of those times that you disregard the trailer and question who youre using your condescending language against...will farrell is not even close to becoming tired, he's not the only funny person in the film, and he's starring woody allen's next film, which is a big deal...so discrediting will farrell now is like dissing jim carrey after dumb and dumber...
i never said king author was gonna be bad...however, credible and respected movie critics havent exactly called this a must see and/or give it rave reviews across the board (on the other hand, every critic has loved anchorman)... again, if you wanna see it just to look at keira knightly, save the 10 bucks now and wait til it comes out on dvd, and you can see her as many times as you want for merely $4... but if you want to be wise with your money, spend it on the movie experience known as Anchorman...
