importing and using MIDIs in Fruity Loops?

I just imported a MIDI file into Fruity Loops, but I'm having a hard time getting it to play. It imported fine, the little green dots are now in Piano Rool, but as the track progress bar movesd across the, there is no sound. Thanks

Make sure the notes are being played by a channel that will actually produce a sound, like a synth. Also check the velocities of the midi in the piano roll.
