yeah it uses the buttons that the ipod mini has because they're much more power efficient, stupposedly this one is alot more stable so you sis should go back and demand an upgrade, if you bitch out them long enough they'll prob give her a replacement.

i dunno i like the buttons better on mine.... i dunt think so cause i got it personalized but i got so much shit on it already that its not worth it. im happy wit it plus i just got my sone v700 headphones
