Why do all the famous djs / producersb try to remix some pop shit .
I think they should stop remixing the pop songs by Britney Spears , Madonna , etc. They have no meaning to Trance. Plus , their vocals suck , unlike Justina Suissa`s and Sarah Mchlahlan`s .Trance is a different genre of music , and I think these genres have nothing in common ,except for some occasional vocals.

romchik, please consider the following:
-Sarah McLachlan is sometimes classified under "pop"
-Madonna's "Ray of Light" is relevant to trance
-Above and Beyond, collaborators with Justine Suissa, remixed Madonna
-all of these genres are interconnected
-James Holden is James Holden. Don't expect bog prog from him.

You can't compare Britney Spears' lyrics and songs with Sarah McLachlan. Sarah McLachlan's songs hold depth, and genuine emotion. Spears sings about boys, and banging them. I mean, can you really group these two together?
I personally don't believe 'pop diva's' songs should be remixed by anyone. What's the point?? The trance I want to hear is not a part of America's pop stars. Notice I don't listen to them in my free time, why would i listen to a remix?
