in need of speaker and speaker setup suggestions

It is finally time for me to upgrade my speakers. I'm gonna neeed them for throwing several small parties and also filling up my room with sound.
I've been thinking about the JBL EON 15-P1 having the built in amp makes things a bit easier.
and at around $500 a pop its not too bad a deal.
But i'm not to sure about how i can configure them in my room with my setup of DJGear and so forth.
I currently have a DJM600 which i have connected to an Mbox via the XLR outs. I have my monitors connected through a shitty home stereo amp via the RCA booth outs. I'm pretty sure the EON's have only XLR inputs, so i'd have to go through the XLR on my DJM600. This would eliminate the Mbox in my set up.
So my question is what would everyone suggest as an option to connect the JBL's through the DJM600 while keeping the Mbox connected through the XLR master outs.
Should i go with the non powered JBL's and get an amp with XLR outputs for the speakers and a 1/4" input and get a 1/4" to RCA to connect the speakers. If so what amp would you recomend.
Or can i get RCA to XLR cables and jsut connect the JBL's via the booth out, and how much sound quality would i lose going through the XLR to RCA cable?
Any other speaker/amp suggestions aside from the JBL's? (I don't want to spend more than $1000)
Thanks for any help.

well i could connect RCA to 1/4" into the Mbox but then i'd have to connect those to the booth out and then connect the EON's to the XLR master out. but i want to keep the Mbox connected to the master out snce i have more control over the sound coming out and also i want to keep it connect via XLR because i also connect mics up to the DJM600 and do recording and i want to keep the quality as high as i can
