Converting people to real music.

Who has completed an act of bravery and good will by converting someone from the gates of hell, ie urban crap music, rap rubbish, rocker shit, to the beautiful world of dance music?

I was awarded 2 stars for getting my 15 year old sister into a record store to pick records, work a turntable, and pick me some music to buy. She picked a funky Deep House number, she's a natural.

whatever you think, trying to get somebody to listen to your personal tastes is a bit gash. Like what they listen to or not, they should make the choices, if they like what you play then by all means, but don't be a nazi by trying to convert every atom you come across

why bother, if they like your stuff then great, if not then so be it. My brother is a hardcore rocker (who went to a bryan adams concert last night and danced....what a douchebag, he must be adopted). I listen to my EDM or the odd rock stuff when I want, if friends don't like it, they don't have to listen. I've tried for the better part of 10 yrs to convert my brother to real music, I just gave up.

No-one said the job bestowed upon lovers of real music would be an easy one, but the responsibility to change the world for the better has been given to electronic dance music lovers nonetheless.

that's being nieve. Electronic dance music doesn't get enough recognition as is. For the better part of my career, all people that are close to me just say " i don't understand it, but i respect your love for it." It's not like I am some odd ball kid who only likes this music, i was just want other people to see what i've seen and hear what i've heard. Converting might be a little too much, but whats wrong w/ exposing it to others...

If you cram something down someone's throat, what happens, they throw up and the vomit leaves a bitter taste in their mouth and they remember it. That's the why I view music, I don't mind being a pool party with hip hop playing because it usually don't last long cuz I'm usually taking over the sound system at some pt.

You can't convert people, if they like what they'll hear then they will decide for themselves
