Biiography:
Steve Gibbs, born in Australia but raised in the UK is not newcomer to the music industry having played alongside numerous artists including Bjork and almost all of the top trance DJs in the circuit.
With a background in classical music, jazz and the blues, Steve gained a vide variety of musical exposure through his childhood living in various places and experiencing different cultures.
Starting off in 1997 with a deal almost struct with Warner Records, but the A&R deemed his sound too similar to BT at the time and declined Steve the opportunity to an early start. Although this happened, it didn't stop Steve from putting it back together again and moved to the UK where most of dance music seemed to have been emanating from.
From then on, deals were established over the next few years with Platipus, Eve Records, and Bonzai putting him as one of the forerunners in the trance scene, remixing artists like James Holden and Jurgen Vries.
As 2003 comes into play, Steve's new tracks "Tears in the Rain" and "Marrakech" on Platipus is set to create a big stir with most of the major jocks including Push, Airwave, Armin van Buuren and others.
