I guess I could have PM'ed someone, but I thought this was important to have everyone able to read this. Why was that thread closed?

My understanding is that this is a place to discuss pretty well anything, how does wishing someone happy birthday get closed??

I'm afraid things are getting to be worrysome, I see this forum as a most things go kind of place, and now people can't even wish others happy birthday.

If thats the case the mods need to 'chill out'

Whats going on??


PS.. I read what Swamper said, I don't think that thread counts and I also disagree with the things he said, you can't dictate what people, say, think, and if you start closing threads based on your opinions you'll get into trouble.

and lex - i think having a birthday threads is very nice and make the one who celebrated feel loved and its better then most of the threads that i see here recently - some of them are realy strange and useless IMO (i mean all of the "im bored" threads...)

I DID NOT close that thread, so there's your first mistake.

Next, I never attempted to dictate what people say or think - all I asked was a reduction in the number of useless posts/threads that are off topic or derogatory in nature.

If your reading comprehension is off that isn't my problem.
