released thru what label? I like the pads, dont like the kick or the hi hats at all, far too basic. the rythm of that aynth is also a bit basic. and then the bass, again... its WAY too basic for me. this track doesnt seem to experiment at all with bass, lead, kick or percs. piano is nice, but it really isnt complemented by everything else. its nice when the beat stops and that new synth starts, but then the beat kicks off again and i dont like it again. I think it needs some more layers and i think the layers that it has allready should be made more complex. its just a matter of taste really, but i HATE that bassline rythm in most songs i hear, it works in some really hard trance or techno tracks but in a nice chilled out trance track it doesnt work at all in my opinion. i do really like that piano tho, and the synth lead isnt too bad, just too dry.. perhaps more reveb would be nice, its also quite thin. the over all melody and tune is wicked i love it. very uplifting, just tjhe production is very very very basic and it ruins it for me, i think it would work better as an ambient piece. it also doesnt have any real build up, it doesnt seem to follow any particular structure which is a shmae as it means it cant be played by djs. As has already beem said, i do think its far too cheesey right now, all though it is down to taste, i think it could be good with more complex percs, bass, lead etc and a better kick.
