Fx Tracks in FL Studio

Hi guys, quick question about FL Studio.
Should i be using a seperate fx track for each individual channel i use?
i.e.
If i import a kick sample i set it to FX track 1
If i import a bongo sample i set it to FX track 2
If i open a VST i set it to Fx track 3
And so on............

Is it right what i'm doing or should i be sending several channels to the same fx track?

Many Thanks

Mike

generally i use a seperate fx channel for each sample or synth, but certain things can be grouped together, like some percussion can use the same fx and strings and synths can sometimes use the same fx too. It all depends on the sounds you are using

Yea i noticed that the cpu useage went sky high when i used individual fx tracks for individual samples. The good thing is that you have control over each sample or sound though. I'll probably use individual fx tracks for the more prominent sounds and group together the less important ones.

Thanx

i usually have one for each synth (lead, string, pad, bass etc...)

then there's atleast 1 for the effects..
then i have one for the clap.. well... if i use several clap's i sometimes use different FX channel for them
then there's atleast one for the percussions... most of the times i use atleast 3...

ohh.. and one for the kick too..

have probably missed something.. to tired to think.. but that's something atleast

Other tip: For example reverb/delay can often be used as send effect. Just put em to send and turn dry signal to 0% in effect plugin, and adjust the amount of FX from insert channel.

yeah that's a great tip cause you save a lot of CPU

best even is a combination of the 2, reverb on one send, delay on another send, then on channels where you want more specific treatment load up their own reverbs and delays

it just depends on what you want to do
