is this the right keyboard for harmonic mixing?

Hi guys, now i was told that there is not much point in buying a keyboard to just find out the keys of a track for harmonic mixing, that i could do it with software like mixmeister. but software is not accurate

now, i went ahead and bought a CASIO CTK-230 go here bought it only for $150USD

Im not even sure if i bought the correct one or that it is suited to find out the keys of the track

can someone help me. i believe it has 49 keys. do i use all of them to find out what key does the track belong to?

i have posted more pictures of the keyboard.

Yes that keyboard will be fine.

Just teach yourself the major and the minor chord for each note and you will get it.

Although you have 49 keys on the keyboard you only have 12 notes in an octave. So you only need to learn the Major and minor chords for 12 notes.

Look it up on the net. All you need to do is work out which key on the keyboard is which note.

Then play around until you find one note on the keyboard that seems to blend in with a song and see if the best chord is major or minor.
Mostly minor with trance.

Cheers
Nem
