It's supposed to be at the same level as the weight...

The Stanton 680 cartridges are recommending 2-5g I believe was the weight suggested. I've got it set about 4.5 right now actually. It was jumping a bit whenever I'd stop and find my cue point (beat) so I increased the weight to prevent it from doing the jump. Something I could have done wrong? The anti-skating only goes upto three. What about scenarios like this? To much weight? Just put the anti-skate at the maximum level?

If it skipps when you backcue then your anti-skip is probably too high.
I like it around around 1/2 to 2/3 of the tone arm weight.
