My vestax pdx-2000's are broken
one will not spin when I press start but it will power on.
the other sill start and spin and all that but it sounds really really quiet and I checked 4 different RCA cables and 3 different mixers.
anyone know whats up? or what to do to get them fixed?

Well make sure that the one that is really quiet is not being plugged into the line-in of the mixer, but the phono in (or if there is only one input, that the phono switch is on)

but yeah, the quiet one sounds like you are putting an analogue signal through a digital input.
the other one sounds like a fault that will require the deck being opened up.
are they under warranty?

Ohh man...not to make matters worse, but I was actually considering buy this b 4 I bought my Tech m3d's. I guess you gotta go with the standard. Plus, the Vestax looked poorly made..very plastic-ey

That's really weird. How did they die? Other than people complaining about the platter and plastic, i never heard of major problems w/ vestax decks.
