Question about efx-500 w/ vestax 275

My Vestax PCV-275 has L/R send/return channels (one of each). Will a efx-500 hook up to these and allow me to manipulate one channel at a time?

Also, the send/return channels use these big fat slots (as opposed to RCA) - does the efx work with these?

yes, and yes

you will need to buy mono jack adapters though..

be aware that it doesn't sound as good using the send/return. just buy another efx (thats my plan)

I was actually wondering this exact same thing. are you saying the sound quality is lower with the send/return? How else would you hook up an effects unit? Sounds like a stupid question but enlighten me.

And also I hate to change the subject but I wanted to say that tu-face, you guys' site is hilarious . I keep checking back just cuz that shit cracks me up so much . . . I particularly like this quote: "A 'Main Squeeze' Is Any Girl That One Mugget Has Repetitively Filled With Mugget Juice,

well using the send/return, its a lot harder to get your levels right, and i always end up getting too much feedback on the channel, so you dont get a nice clean effect on the signal. i have it wired up to the master signal then going straight to my amp. it means you cant effect a single channel on its own whilst leaving another channel clean, but it sounds miles better, and you can still do loads of creative stuff with it.
