I liked it.
It's a movie that will have to grow on me and I'm sure others as time goes on (seeing it again on dvd).
Dialouge was good, action scenes (when they came) were just typically well done. I actually believed that Cruise knew what he was doing (he went through training for the role).
Michael Mann is probably one of the best directors in this genre. I think Heat was made to be an instant classic, that as well took time to grow on me, now it's one of my fav's. The irony of music he uses also. I didn't really think that the digital camera used here would really work well in this film, but I was wrong and now seeing the movie as a whole, I understand why Mann used it.
