So, like, does anyone know exactly WHY it is so much easier to beatmatch with one ear listening to the monitor and one at the speaker? I mean, it shouldn't be, should it, because the same signal is going to both, right? So is it something with the brain, or what? |
I once knew. Learned it on the physologi. But I would guess it has something to to with the distance of the sound-source. When both tunes come from the head set, its hard to figure out what sound is coming from what direction. But if you have one tune in the headphones (coming from an exact location) and one tune in the surroundings (a difuse location) the brain easier can determine what beat is what. If I´m not correct... please correct me!
