progressive or uplifting

im generalising here, but as we know there seems to be much more progressive stuff coming out than ever b4. so lets have a debate. do you prefer uplifting or progressive trance?

i prefer uplifting trance because they show well constructed songs, and generally lead to euphoric climaxes and great listening music. i dont really dislike progressive music but i feel it is far to monotonous (spell check?). plus i just love gouryella and dumonde style uplifting tunes.

i like uplifting alot more than progressive, i guess i like the energy and climaxes. but on rare occasions i can get into prog, when i'm tired i like chillout and prog. i find prog a bit boring most of the time tho, i guess i just dont have the ear for it. but you better get used to it cos i think we'll be hearing alot more

I guess you produce the music you like (at least that is what it should be). If you like prog you produce prog and visa versa.

Personally I like both progressive and uplifting, but I think I still prefer uplifting.

The answer is BOTH.

I prefer both, so I buy both, and I spin both.

And I never have a problem.

Consider me Digweed/Armin/Klinenberg/Tiesto/Timo Mass all rolled into one

Uplifting all the way. I dunno I havent really gotten into Progressive too much. I listen to it from time to time just to chill to, but I am a sucker for the euphoric breakdowns and just cant get enough of uplifting sets and tracks

because I already set up a poll on this two months ago, in the "Polls" section.
I think that something like 85% of people on this site prefer uplifting.

because I already set up a poll on this two months ago, in the "Polls" section. It's called "Your Favorite Style of Trance".
