Confused software for recording sets with cd players

i've been having my denon 2600f dual cd players for some time now, and i've finally bought a laptop (dell inspiron 5150). I'd like to hook up my equipment to the laptop and i'm trying to find software wherein i can record mixes.
any help would be appreciated.

Pretty much all audio editors like Cool Edit, SoundForge etc. can do that.

Personally i use an actually purchased version of SoundForge 7.0.

I HIGHLY recommend this Creative Labs external sound card - HERE. You can record up to 320 KBPS and it comes with powerful software. A bargain for $40.00. It comes with the recording software, editing software (very similar to SoundForge), and noise removal software.
