as for ur questions Roj ..

1. I attended the following:

Sonar Festival 2004 - Barcelona
Sensation White - Amsterdam
Love Parade (Fight the Power) & Love from Above - Berlin
Godskitchen Global Gathering - Stratford Upon Avon

2. DJs I saw .. too many ! lol

3. Places that I liked the most, I'd have to say Spain, Italy, and Southern France (in no particular order - southern Europe rulez!)

4. Sick clubs? Roxy in Praha (Prague). The Gallery @ Turnmills and Fabric in London hav some crazy lineups but prepare for a lotta shoving inside.

1. Jeff Mills had the best set at Sonar Festival in Barcelona. They would televise these classic house tracks by artists like Donna Summers on big screens by the stage and there would be another screen on Mills showing him mixing the songs into his techno set.. that was a pretty badass thing to see..

2. Erick Morillo destroyed Amsterdam Arena at Sensation White. Hands down the best set of the night over PVD and Sander K. Everyone went nuts when he dropped some classics like Eurhymics (sp?) and Mammas and Papas and mixed it into his house set. He also had this dirty dirty play on Marco V's - C: del *.mp3 with the craziest buildup ever.

3. DJ Tiesto stole the show at Columbiahalle during Love from Above. He defiantely 1 upped both PVD and NuNRG there that night and was the highlight of the evening. His set featured a lotta unknown tracks that we don't get over here as well as usual classics like Barber's and Love Comes again. One thing I noticed was that he seemed a lot more into his set and played a LOT harder than he does compared to his acts in North America. Just another subtle difference we all noticed while over there..

PVD had the best set while I was in Europe. And fortunately it was during the Love Parade. When he dropped For an Angel it nearly brought me to tears..

4. Carl Cox & Fergie had the most lively sets at Godskitchen Global Gathering. Fergie's entrance included fire extinguishers that he set off into the crowd as while as occasional thrusts of vinyl from the stage. All in all most of the DJs played great sets. It's always nice to party it up with a crowd of thousands who know the music so well and are able to sing along with the lyrics. A truly surreal experience at every party.

parties and sets over there are quite different than how we get them here. i'll elaborate more when I actually post a full out review soon ..

if ur interested , Dance Valley pics are in that other thread.. Hordash and pettiscool were there this year ..

Holland is crazy for those festivals.. everywhere u walk in Amsterdam u see posters posted on buildings and billboards... simply crazy

it reminds me a lot of System , but a much larger version .. but the main room is in a split level basement .. so i guess u could say it's sort of like a pit ..

i think the club used to be an opera house since it has a balcony.. it's located right beside the Travellers Hostel in northeast Prague

Alright ill try my best to describe Europe this summer (party wise)
Ibiza - undescribeable, wicked clubs... specifically space in ibiza, the opening party was disturbing...... Eric Morillo owned everybody.

Barcelona, went to pacha and saw sasha, decent is all i can say.

Love From above and Love Parade. Both sick parties in there own way, like emz said, tiesto was on fire that night. Love Parade was so cool, theres just something about dancing and chasing djs down the street.......

Nature One (near koblenz Germany) - EVERYONE needs to experience this party one day(s). Its a 4 day party if you use the campsite. Absolute madness, 60,000 campers...... im not going to even try....... just go. Hightlight Ferry. Download the set. Blank and Jones were hype too. I also got a good appreciation for techno music at this party.

Dance Valley - another awesome party but some disapointing sets... highlights were armin and Mike.

sorry this is so short but im tired.

Heres the Final DJ list i managed to pull off easily, coulda been a lot more

PVD x 7 (he kept folowing me around)
Nu Nrg x 5 (live and Dj)
Tiesto
Armin
Marco V
Mike
Ferry x 3
Judge Jules x 2
Eddie Halliwell
Carl cox x 2
Digweed x 2
Sasha x 2
Sasha and Digweed x 1
Lexy and K-Paul
Nature One Inc.
Moguai x 2
Dave Clark x 2
DJ Rush
Pet Duo
Chris Liebing
Adam Beyer
Sven Vath
Bad Boy Bill
Tomcraft
Kai Tracid
Westbam
Tube Tech
Tillmann Uhrmacher
Tom Novy
Sander Klienenberg
Johan Gielen
Rank 1
Guy Ornadell (awesome)
Scott Project
Ernesto vs Bastian
Misja Helsloot
Don Diablo
Flutlicht vs S.H.O.K.K
Markus Schulz
MIKE (live and Dj)
Jeff Mills
Eric Morillo
Voodoo and Sereno
Steve Lawler

Country i liked best, as a generalization, Spain.
Eurotrips are cool.
