word of advice to all....don't leave open-ended comments or observations in the COR. People spin it faster than the RNC or moveon.org.

Yeah chill out rooms good though cuz it lets people take all their frustration out so it dont get mixed up in other threads. which in the end makes other posts better amd less likely people will get flamed (watch me get flamed for this)

I love the chillout room. It's like getting a cheap hooker. Most of the people there lack the basic necessities of logic and reason that you can just feel their minds twirling about in an attempt to comprehend what you're trying to say. It's fun to start arguments whose conclusions are foregone the minute they start. It's like arguing with a creationist ...
You're goddamned right I'm being elitist. I'm drunk, I'm an asshole, and I'm old enough to be one

Well, I don't know where that puts me then - somewhere at the level of a homeless crack-addicted hooker. I went through the thread posted by PHALPAX, and didn't have a clue as to what half the posters were on about. It seems to me that the line(s) of arguments in threads in COR twistes and bounces around the thread topic, with private jokes and insider comments throwing you off the track at every turn.
It might be that the rules of logic are ignored by COR TAs, but they have substituted for it something vastly more complicated IMO.
