1) Magik Muzik therapy by Tijs Verwest, 03/08/2004. So many different people, all tuned in at 140 bpm... amazing. Damn, I just got goosebumps. The drop of the night was Relooped into Lethal Industry into Tribal Shock. Unfortunately, this set was too good, wasn't the same in June.
2) Ferry Corsten @ Space34, 01/04/2004. Perfect set, we rocked the speaker boxes all night. Remember when he dropped Force of Gravity? That man is so cool on the decks... He takes the throne for best DJ. I'm sorry, but if you're not jamming on the decks, and connecting with the crowd, I'd rather listen to you at home. May 1st @ Space34, Ferry was jamming it out even co-razier than in Jan, but I had to leave at 4:20 , so I can't vote on it. It's all good though, he'll be back.
3) Markus Schulz afterhours at the 34... after that dude Tiësto spun. Markus owns Space, sorry Luis. Unbelievable set, great memories, including Holden-Nothing and "magnetic" Pat flying into the wall. This set owned, but his July 5th set at NV was definitive Markus. Wow, Schulz definitely is the remix master.
4) Junkie X.L. @ Nerve, April 16th. "Dirty Sticky Floors..." Tom is such a gifted musician, it was incredible watching him make music on that little stage with 3 pieces of sound equipment. JXL owns for stage prescence, singing and dancing and high 5's during his set. That man knows how to throw a birthday party .
5) Paul van Dyk @ Peacock park, 07/04/2004. New set, crazy bass drops, mixed Traffic into Crush into Wir Sind Wir, sick. Dropped Cosmic Gate-Bilingual ... , WICKED. Way to go Paul.

your right dr dave, after majik muzik nite, everything will be a let down, he set the bar too high, even for himself, i bet tic2 is the only thing soon that will top it, and i wont be there. damn!! but i will have to argue with you on the schulz remix master thing(people in ta are going to HATE me for this) his remixes are usually way too drawn out(redeye eluded to this once, i give him credit), the buildup way to long, and it doesnt really climax, just kinda flatlines, at least with "as the rush comes" and "satelite". i do like his own coldharbour productions tho, remixes not really, tiesto is still the master of the remix. but nice sets.. KEEP EM COMING PEOPLE!!!

I only have 2 that I can put up that were so memorable. They both are equal in greatness.
1. Tiesto @ Space 3/7/04. Most energetic set I have ever heard, then you have the fucking fog machine making it the temperature dairy cooler and to where visibility drops to .01mm. haha. so fun, i was jumping the whole night. High, HIGH energy from the man, for oh just 6 hours! Definitely the funnest night I have ever had at a club, by far.
1. PVD at summerstage. I mean pvd at central park, what a blast. The was so unique of an experience, with all the other TA's. It's raining like mad, were chugging merlot, and then the lasers and strobe light come on. Then I know vtec remembers this - PVD drops energize as those fucking clear beachballs appear out of nowhere and you can't even see the sky! ha, what a blast. It made this day perhaps my most memorable, but still I enjoyed the music better at Space. (Plus PVD kicked a beach ball off the stage and it hit me in the head. good times, good times)
So hard to decide. oh well, fun is fun i guess!!!!

1. PVD @ Space 11-22-2003
what was that new tune he played for the very first time that absolutely killed the place? oh yeah... SECOND SUN - LOVE SIMULATOR!!!! best PVD set i've seen over the past year.
2. Markus Schulz @ Space 6-18-2004
owned Tiesto with his closing set from 5am - 8am, i wanted to go get some sleep but just couldn't tear myself away, tune after tune i ended up staying til they kicked us out. hanging in the booth with the M to the S at the end made it even better.
3. Tiesto @ Icon 6-23-2004
just when I was liking Tijs the least he comes to orlando and drops this phenomenal set. really couldn't ask for anything more other than "one more tune. one more tune" even the broken AC couldn't stop me from dancing!
4. Sander Kleinenberg @ Sensation White 2004
wasn't there, but after a few minutes watching the video feed, i wished i was! downloaded to the set and listen to it again and again, best set of Sensation even better than PVDs!! his set @ Space terrace for WMC and at Icon in April were very good as well. i've become quite a Sander fan this year.
5. Ferry @ Space 1-4-2004
Ferry's best i've seen over the past year (wasn't at the May show) very solid set, very fun night! Also another great set from Markus on this night to top it off.
Another close contenter would be Markus' second set at Mansion for Armada night WMC.

1. Armin van Buuren-Armin Only, Amnesia Ibiza 08-10-04 : OMG is all I can say, it was WOW <3
2. Armin van Buuren-6 hour set at Dance Valley 2004 : Everything about this was great! The set, the crowd, the vibe, the weather, the decoration, the ENERGY... hmmmmm I love Dance Valley
3. Markus Schulz at Dance Valley 2004 : Everytime I see Markus he gets better, I MEAN it!!! His Dance Valley set was simply CRAZY! He was spinning sooooo good, absolutely got me into the "party mood", too bad it wasn't a longer set....
4. Markus Schulz before and after Tiesto at Space in June 04 : Pfffft Markus kicked Tijs' ASS that night!!! Tiesto didn't really excite me too much, but Markus made it a great night none the less Also the fact that I could actually DANCE during his set was good
5. Ferry Corsten at Judgement Sunday, Eden Ibiza 08-08-04 : It had been a long time since I saw Ferry and actually I didn't really want to go to this party too much cause I was still tired from Dance Valley but WOW! This was one sublime set by Mr. Corsten, great great track selection
and also so many sets I've heard from Edgar V over the last months He always gets me in a dancing kind of mood... Also Markus @ 3 DJ's in a Boat and various times at MIA!! Carl Cox at Dance Valley 2004 (AMAZING! The closing, the lasers, the fireworks, the 50.000 people )
ps: for those who care, i'll be back home on monday
