Regardless of the reality of the swift-boat claim, Kerry is a freakin cry-baby.

One group comes out and starts spewing some propaganda against Kerry and it because a nation-wide report. News leaders from all the news desk in America question and curtail the legality and legitimacy of the voice of the Swift Boat veterans. Many urge them to stop, for Bush to denouce them etc...

Poor Kerry is getting beat up! MAKE IT STOP! MAKE IT STOP!!! AHHH THE HUMANITY! News leaders cry across America. Something should be done, it can't just be like this. Our everybody-but-bush guy can't be a freakin liar, or if he is people shouldn't have the right to know this.... I mean a guy with such integrity that flip-flops on an issue every month, can't have ever fabricated anything... not even a nice story about having a nice tropical christmas in Cambodia..


Of course, Move On, Michael Moore, Howard Dean, and a slew of other organizations have been spewing the same unsubstantiated propanganda against Bush to no complaint, no national up-roar, no demands from Bush that Kerry should denouce those organizations etc.


So I just say this to Kerry and his supporters:

Shut up!

This is a campaign. Take the mud slinging like a man.

Don't go make a commotion out of nothing. If Bush can take a few punches, grow the balls to absorb a few yourselves.

You are making an issue out of nothing.

Well, they are spewing lies, and nothing has been done about it. At least Michael Moore got a tough way tours the movie theaters because of the republicans on top of hollywood were crying all over.. some movie theaters have even banned it.. so whats the deal?!?!.. This swiftboat veterans are spewing fictituous stuff.. you don't expect Kerry to stay chill about it.. he's been Chill enough for weeks with the ads, just now he's shooting back.

"Movie theatres have banned it?" I think you're a little bit confused. Theatre owners have the same constitutional right to show whatever movies they want as Michael Moore does to make whatever movies he wants. If the owners think it's a trashy piece of propaganda (which it is), they're well within their limits not to air it. Nobody can force them to. It has NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with "crying Republicans."

Nobody's tried to make the claim that anything not Republican is Liberal (what the hell are you on, anyway? Republicans are a party, Liberal is a political orientation). Kerry, however, is a Liberal, and he is definitely a pussy. If he thinks he has a case for libel, he should take it to court like everybody else does when they feel they've been defamed. Regardless, he needs to stop complaining about people who are doing the same thing to him that his own cronies have been doing to Bush for the past years or so.

I do love how you recommend people take a "government class" though. I suppose you're talking about the anti-intellectual, left-wing, brainwashed-stupor-inducing political classes that teach people how Liberals are the only moderates and the only true intellectuals and everyone right of center is a rabid bible-thumping bigoted reactionary?

I commented about that "liberal" comment, because every individual that thinks one does not agree with Bush or some of the Republican Policies is a Liberal.. and it really gets tire-ing. I guess you havent read the other threads, on how, anyone that presents a case against Bush is quickly portrayed as LIBERAl.. so thats not for you to say "Im on Something".. just go to all the other threads and see for yourself. I really dont get though on your last comment.. Im religious myself, probably making me way more conservative then you or any Bush defender is, ofcourse, that's just an assumption. As for the government class.. yes, I mean. There's the Extreme Left, as well the Extreme Right.. there's also the Moderate ( Center ) which you can find both sides crossover. But to the Right Wing.. anything not Extreme Right is a liberal ( or is that how some individuals make it seem at least )..

Do you dispute that "liberal" in the American and Canadian sense is a moderate/centrist on the political spectrum? Usually it refers to someone who is center-right to dead center on the economic spectrum.

There are people to the left of "liberals" such as Mr. Nader, and people to the right such as Mr. BUsh.

Clinton wasn't really what I would call a "liberal," but he was not a conservative either.

He was decidedly neoliberal though in many of his economic policies and influenced by Reagan to some degree.

Yes, I most certainly DO dispute that. It's entirely the other way around! Affirmative action, welfare, gay marriages, 3rd-wave feminism and so on are somehow considered to be "moderate" instead of "left-wing" by a majority of people here. Liberal is not moderate on the political spectrum - moderate is liberal.

Now in the USA, the Democratic party is not very *far* to the left - both the Republicans and the Democrats are *very* close to center and only differ on a small number of issues. But that does not change the fact that the political scale in the view of academics and politicians and news media tilts *heavily* to the left. According to the Michael Moore following, "moderate" is halfway to communism!
