Johan Gielen ends his show at ID&T Radio.

Today I received this e-mail in bij Inbox:

Johan Gielen ends his show at ID&T Radio.

After nearly two years of warming up the Saturday night party people by broadcasting his weekly radio show “Lift Off” on ID&T Radio, Johan Gielen stops his show. With more than 180 hours and 2200 records played, Johan Gielen has been one of the longest performing artists on ID&T Radio.

Johan Gielen: “With my hectic agenda and my ever expanding businesses, I can simply no longer combine all of the activities involved. It has always been great for me to be able to share my music with you and to take you on that weekly journey through my world of dance. This doesn’t mean that I won’t do any radio in the future though, but you will read all about that soon on www.johangielen.com. I hope that you’ve always enjoyed it as much as I have and I want to thank everybody for being such a great radio-audience.”

This Saturday the final show of Johan Gielen’s “Lift Off” will be broadcasted on ID&T Radio from 20:00 to 22:00 hours on ID&T Radio.

NO MORE LIFT OFFS!
What do you think about this?

I don't think it is newsworthy, neither is gielen. He's a hasbeen sadly, who has seen better days and I think ID-T is better off not having his show.

Not really a bad news to me.... Then it's time for id&t to find someone for a new show.

Gielen used to be a better producer and deejay, I'll admit I liked his old style but then he lost the clue, I think he had the same thing happen that happens to most A list deejays...bigHEADitis. You make more cash but your productions and gigs suffer.
