whoo techno ejay... honestly though... it's not really a program you want to be using to make trance...

I guess i'll give some reviews... bass ok... percs are ok... lead can get annoying at times...

i recommend investing on a program like FLStudio or Reason and try to get started in some real producing

think its pretty good for EJAY program. quality is OK but we live in year 2004 not in 1994 anymore , try upgrade your programs and make something more emotional. Is EJAY program samples ready made for use??? And you must only make buildups and combine different readymade layers?? Don't have use this beauty, thats why don't know this

take care and pratice!

this sounds pretty cool for ejay,

though at 1.14? a drumroll comes on top of the current kick, thats not good i think

Kick is a bit weak, but i am not sure if you have the tools in ejay to EQ and such?

melodies sound ok, but not really special.

i say switch to some software with more freedom and more stuff

yeah, I know, ejay is ooooold, but it's all I got right now. I'm looking into getting some new programs.

yeah, but I didn't use them. I made all the samples with ejay's hyper generator, which is basically a keyboard matrix.

Shame / Disagreement

dude, no offence, but you cant really post a tune made on ejay and claim its your own. you clearly have an interest in music like this so get started on some real stuff where you make your own sounds etc. ejay is just a bunch of premade samples that u can make melodies out of. its not producing its mixing. get reason or fruity to start out on. learn about synths and stuff like that. learn about effects and midi. it takes time but it needs to be done if you want to get into producing. ejay is very limited, so ull never know what potential you have got in you unless you start finding ways of expanding those limits. i think ejay was designed more as a toy than productuin utility! hehe. i dont think there is much we can say on these forums about this music...the forums are for giving feedback on production quality and sounds etc, but if you didnt make the sounds and things on this then what can we say? there is nothing to comment on. all i can say is it gets far too repetative and the sounds are dull and neeed some effects like reverb. also has no stereo width which also makes it sound dull. get working on some programs like reason.

I will happily talk you thru the basics of production and what have we and im sure others on here would give you a hand to. but we can let you keep using ejay

mike

I agree 100% with Mike on this one, very dull!

You most deffinatly need to get some decent programs m8. I personally use Reason, most people either use that or Fruity Loops! Ejay is good to get started with but you need to start thinking about taking it to the next step, its a big one but it needs to be done tbh m8!

If you need any help from any one on getting used to reason, synth tips/tricks etc. then were all willing to help out, also try looking in the production forum...

Mate, listen.

EJay is like riding a kids bike, all the rest are big bikes made for men!

I hate EJay as much as i hate Bush, and i therefor refuse to listen to your track.

Sorry mate!

cheers.

I know ejay is a kid's program. that's why I used only one of their original samples on my first transition, which was crappy anyway.
I used the hyper generator, which is a keyboard matrix, to make all of the other sounds to preserve the originality of my mix, and all the other ones on my angelfire account.
Other than that, I am currently in an effort to acquire some new programs.

thanks for the offer, Mike.
