FruityLoops Analog key help

i want to connect my analog yamaha keyboard to the comp thru MIDI, and i already have the proper connections. From the yamaha keyboard, there are some awesome analog leads/strings instruments that i want to import to the comp, so that i can use them as instruments in fruityloops. I know how to record separate keys from the yamaha keyboard onto the computer as quick wav samples through windows sound recorder, but the thing is, then when i use them on fruityloops, i dont want it to be like a typical wav sample, in which when u put it on a higher note in fruityloops, the sample becomes shorter. i want the imported yamaha instruments sample length to be the same no matter what key i put it to in fruityloops, and my best guess is this is not possible with wav fornat...i wonder which other format will do.

can someone please tell me how i can import the instrument from yamah keyboard to comp in such a way to avoid this problem in fruityloops?

thanks in advance

there are two ways you can get around this

use the fruity granulizer and import the wav into it...it makes it so the sound is the same length on every note, although it does this by 'stretching' the sound and it may not sound very good, you would just have to play with the settings.

the other way is to multi sample the sound

eg. Record one sample at note C3, then C4, C5 etc...

the multisample i thought about but nah, itll be harder to mess around that way...but the granulizer method sounds like its worth a try...but can u tell me how to access it? because i looked in the help and all over the program and couldnt find it, maybe my version (3.0) doesnt have it? let me know...thanks

if you have it, it would be in channels > add one > fruity granulizer

the granulizer wont help you at all... multi sample at least what you would want to use, then go downloa... buy Kompakt or any other VST sampler, and load them up to the correct note on the sampler... you can cough* buy it from any dc serv... i mean internet store that sells other vst synths... that wouyld be the only way for it to sound good...
