Waaaayyy overpriced. A thousand bucks for an effects unit? Besides, i find that the efx units are just too generic sounding. The kp2 is a bit better for trying to get unique sounds, but not much.

Pricing is all subjective though. If enough people out there feel a thousand is worth it, then it's definitely not overpriced.

It's aimed at the high end, professional market. Its 24bit 96 kHz, which is very high quality... according to that post all other effects units on the market are low-fi, and clubs/pro studios have complained that they all have noise on them. So thats what this new one is for - the pros.
