The firehouse that I'm part of has a melon-launcher. It's pretty nuts! They only used it once or twice and shot random objects off the rooftop of the firehouse.

my dad is a large fan of guns. he owns an old m14 rifle, m4, and some beretta. i dont own a single one though

I'd love to own a gun. Unless I had kids in the house or something, then a gun is a definate no-no. I've used a friends BB gun a couple of times, I kinda ruined every lampshade in the house with it though.

no i don't. but my mom has a 38 revolver under her bed. you really can't be too safe these days being a single woman. there is so much shit that goes on down here (south florida), the news is disgusting. i was driving home from the gym the other night to my mom's and the whole front of her complex was guarded by like 20 cops w/ rifles and news people....i was like what the hell? she lives in a nice area too...crazy.

so yea, i don't blame her.


my dad has a smith n wesson (don't know exactly which one), and a couple others all in these cool brief cases under his bed too, like he's ready for war or something.

I don't own one today. Growing up my father always had a lot of guns around. I don't plan on getting one anytime soon but I think that someday, just having one in your house for protection for the unlikely event that a professional rapist or some sick person might try to mount me in the night.
