Summer Sessions 2004 - Dave Dresden's Tribute to starkid

First of all, I'd like to say how much of a class act Dave Dresden is for spinning this set. Adam's death this year has touched alot of people, and many of them had hoped for something like this. When I initially saw that Dresden had spun this set, I assumed that he dropped mostly the songs he wanted to with maybe a mix or two of crayons in there. But I was pleasantly suprised to find that he did a proper tribute. Kudos to you Dave, youve made alot of people happy while professionally paying respect to one of my favorite talents, a status in which I am not alone.

RIP Adam Spears. As has been said hundreds of times on this forum, your death was a great loss for not only the music world, but the entire world in general. Thanks for touching our lives during your brief stay in this life...

dead or alive, there's still the matter of the fact that file sharing isn't allowed here, if we start making exceptions, then the mods would look 2 faced if they left some open & not others don't you think ?

Is sharing live sets illegal?

Or maybe were just not supposed to talk about it at all. Good thing I dont anyways, but anyone who can obtain this set should.

it varies from country to country, but I think the mods have to keep on top of any sharing, or keep it to the amateur section if needed for promotion... not sure tho

I guess this is a question for the mods then. If I were to obtain hosting for this set, would I be allowed to post a link for it? Or would that be frowned upon?

I found out Starkid (Adam Spears) died today. I've been in a black mood ever since. He was just a kid, and really talented. I've been reading over the emails we exchanged and it's making me so fucking sad. Don't know how he died and don't really care ... he's not coming back and that sucks for the rest of us.

livesets are illeagal to DL in some countries. plus it goes against the forum rules. If the set is allowed then every set should be allowed. If it goes ahead, the admin/mods will look more stupid than the UK government taking such a u-turn/making a one off exception. imo.

I was just given the ok by swamper to post a link to this set, because it was broadcasted. Once I get some nice long term hosting set up, I will paste the link in this thread.
