you can zoom in in the piano roll and then just quickly look thru the notes

Well, when i use fruity...i don't really use the playlists. Stuff gets too confusing for me. I use the piano rolls and do the repetitions and effects and play the notes when needed. It gets pretty lengthy. But since i don't have the time to go over each note to delete and replace...is there anyway to find notes that exactly overlap each other?

if you mean where 2 notes of similar frequency overlap causing it to distort then you just add a fruity db meter to the main channel to identify where this happens. if 2 notes of similar or same frequency overlap it may cause a sudden sharp increase in db and you can see where it happens on the db meter. then you can remove/shorten 1 note or the other or EQ it so they dont occupy so much of the same frequency range or whatever.

Making an entire song in pattern mode is ridiculously stupid. It's ineffecient to have a 6 minute pattern of a kick drum that plays like 900 times.

My advice is learn the playlist, because its a lot better visually for laying out your tracks, you can look at it and see exactly waht's going on.
