hi
this tune was on the Armada Classical Trancelations cd
the version that was on there though, was a bad unfinished version, actually mastered from an 192 kbps mp3 (long story) :/

so i thought it would be a waste if noone heard the finished version

here it is, a pretty long clip
beethaaken

it's a remake of Beethoven's Moonlight sonata (probably rolling over in his grave)

the atmosphere here is great. percussion is also top notch...

Just the whole mood this puts you into, I find it awesome...

The only minor thing i have to quibble about is the beehivish supersawish leads that come in at around 4:43. There is nothing wrong with the leads itself, but it's mostly the ntoes that they play. I notice the notes you play are mostly C, C#, and some Bb... I think it would sound a lot better if you used Db, E, and some C# (2 semitones down)

It seemed, like i posted mostly negative, but that is more like 1% of negativity ...

This is really an awesome track ... Love the dark atmosphere it brings out and the classical piano

Damn you have so great drum programming skills, I love the drum work.
Just perfect balance on mixdown, crisp and clean soundquality. Piano sounds bit muddy but that's the only petty flaw I could find. I like the "pitched" lead on break, it sounds cool like the rest of the song

Technically 9.5/10
Melodies/ideas/arrangement 8.5/10

Good job again

I really really like this - it reminds me in some ways of Pulling Strings which I was also fond of. It's so dark and unashamed to be so which is great. I can see why people might not like that lead synth but if you ask me it adds another dimension to the track.

Top stuff, keep it up

good stuff mate, personally i would have prefered if it had gone back just to being minimalist and dark after the break instead of carrying the melody in that typical techy way. it does work, just i reakon it would work wonders live, hear the melody then bosh bosh rather than have the melody working there too. thats probably just me tho, enjoyed it all the same

and it does in my opinion. i really like the eerie mood of the track.

the only thing i didn't quite like was the track breaking down in the middle.. there's a few seconds of silence and some effects to fill up that silence, but it all sounded a bit random there. the piano after that sounds rather lo-fi as well, like someone here mentioned.

apart from that, i love it!
