What I mean by that is because the pad I'm using is a .wav file, the only way to "change the note" is by pitching it (Changing it's length so it plays faster and slower thus creating a "changing note" effect) but this is awkward sounding because this is not really a pad played on another note... You get what I mean now?
So what I'm asking is, how I could reproduce that pad using synths in Reason... Because if I can recreate that pad using synths, I'll be able to change the notes without affecting the length of my note... Plus the overlayed sound fxs in that pad will be at the same spot instead of being one beat early or two beat late...
You gotta listen to that sound to understand what I mean... I'll try to extract it from the refill and post it in here so you can understand...
