flta LABOUR OF LOVE REVIEW!!!!
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
just let me start off by saying the best party ive ever been to in my life(overall, not musically). this was such a last minute thing, i mean me, ryan, and rach, and our friend mario made it there down to the wire(to think we almost decided not to go)! we left detroit at around 4:30, get yanked at customs on way over, but managed to make it there in time to buy tickets from a reputable scalper. line was marginally long, and the security search was invasive to say the least, those damn canucks dont play games!! well, we walk into club go to main room to the lovely trance sounds of mark oliver, setting the vibe right for the night.... the main room at guvernment is BIG, plenty of room and seating, decorated nicely, great lighting, nice booth and stage, and legions of lovely ladies, GREAT sound system(like space, maybe even better, close call), just great overall setup for this event, a Labour of Love is a concise, tailor fitted theme. now this is a huge club, there was like seven different rooms, with different genres of edm going on in each one, nice setup imho, the only thing better about space is the bathrooms and the terrace, thats about it, but i still love space. anyways we went over to another room to see sander k, but i quickly left to go back to mark olivers set, but from what i heard sander threw down a killer set, but i was just loving mark olivers set, it was nice to hear actual TRANCE for the love of god!! anyways those guys sets ended about the same time and everybody met up for ferry i must say i was slighty disspointed with his set a bleu, but god all mighty he threw down a mackin ass set at the guv, ryan and rach can id tracks for you guys later, but i will just say ferry had the crowd rockin, the energy was meteoric to say the least, right on par with his space set in may. you couldnt wipe the smile off my face . then nu-nrg came on... i will have to say i was a little skepitical at first, im not a big vandit guy, but those guys kept the energy going with some hot beats i must say, i will definitely check out a show of theirs in the future, very talented guys. then infusion came on and they were great too. caught bits and parts of deep dish, and sounded nice. im not going to describe much more of the night with so many acts, but we danced our balls off till 9pm.. very nice to meet some nyta's shouts out to vtec, vlad, cobra commander, bitchboynyc, and anyone else i forgot, had fun with you all!! i will just close by saying this is a SICK PARTY, i suggest anyone who can to check this one out next year, its worth the trip. ferry set was defintely highlight of the night, i can only imagine what tiesto would have done in an atmosphere like that, such a great vibe, crowd, and club. we all had a stellar weekend, i will never forget it, this kinda of party is what edm is all about, this is why i love this muzik!!! and one more thing...... ME, RYAN, RACH.... LAST TA's STANDING!!!!!, REPRESENTING .
