Close to 100. Maybe more if they are promoting an album that year.

Depends on the deejay, most A list deejays do 6-8 a month or more if they tour. The most that I ever heard, dunno if it is true but it is probably close to the actual number. Timo Maas claims to have played 230 gigs in 2000 and I bet he did, he was everywhere that year.

i know picotto does a LOT of running around...he is like one of the most hard working djs out there...

I think 150-175 is a good estimate. It appears to me that often the big names will spend about 3 weeks touring, doing an averrage of 5 shows over that time. They take a week off, then resume their tours. this adds up to about 280 per year, and I figure im over estimating, so i went with a lower guess...

I was looking at PVD's gig schedule and it seems his somewhere everyday!

I think jeff mills was playing soemthing like 4 gigs a week, during his exhibitionist tour.
