So I was just reading all the tracklists by Tiesto in the Tracklists Thread, and I didn't find 1 single Dumonde track that Tiesto plays.
I've seen Tiesto a number of times now, and even looking back on his old track selections, he used to play alot of Dumonde tracks.
Why doesn't he play Dumonde tracks anymore. I've always considered the Dumonde sound to be an intrical part of Tiesto's sets. I don't think Dumonde's music has changed much over the years, they still throw out quality stuff that I can't get enough of!
Does anyone think anything happened between this amazing duo and the man himself?
maybe he doesn't want the Dumonde sound to be an "intrical part" of his sets.

I suppose maybe because Tiesto's sound HAS changed over the years.

I don't get why people talk about this deejay does not play this artist. Every deejay is unique (cept the lame wannabes) and they play what tracks they like or they get. I don't think it is always a deejay ignoring someone, most deejays play the same artists because their sound fits into their sets. I'm more of the old Darren Emerson view (before he started to whore Underwater every chance he got), he used to bring 2 crates, one of old stuff and one of new stuff and would mix both in.

I don't why it matters if Tiesto does not play a certain track, it's not that he dissing an artist. As far as I'm concerned if a track is good and it fits into the deejay's set or style then he or she will play it.

Because all recent Dumonde releases are shit. Nobody plays them.
