Get yourself some semi-decent equipment.
if you do like he sed and get the best, and it turns out you dont like it, it will put a bigger dent in you pocket.
When you buy you decks, do your best to get maybe say, 10 vinyls of your favourite tracks, and practise making mixes with them in diffrent orders.
I have these 2 vinyls, and al that is on them is a continous 140 bpm kick drum, used to use them to practise beat matching.
But remember the main thing, HAVE FUN!
