Re: Not Vinyl - Rehashed 'Save Me'

Just a heads up - while the new posting of the King of Clubs remix is pretty banging, I doubt it's authenticity - definetely airwave overlapping the mix - almost 100% similar beat to their hit 'Save Me'. Also, the beginning of the track is broken up - the beat isn't 4/4 and the beats change up in all the wrong places (as A DJ - you can hear the change up as you count over the 8 standard drub beats). The end of the song is fine - the beat stays constant and change ups in layers are placed over the 1rst beats in the right places.
The beginning of the track also varies in speed - I tested it against a standard back beat I use for mixing, and had to keep speeding up and slowing down the song to get it to match the beat. You might want to look at placing Airwave's ' Save Me' in lieu - almost identical track that hasn't been rehashed. King of Clubs is 100% impossible to mix over turntables, and can only be mixed digitally with a lot of reworking. Sorry to slag the song - just giving Dj's out there a heads up. |
hmmmm i disagree.. its actually easier to mix that a lot of other songs..
or else pvd, armin, ferry, tiesto wouldn't be playing it would they
