Burning Software Without Pauses In Between Track?

I cant find any burning software that does not put a pause inbetween tracks. im trying to put my cd together, but every piece of burning software i use puts a pause inbetween tracks. even when i went and disabled the pauses, it puts a brief split second pause on there, so im having problems tracking my cd. any help would be appreciated

thx

Nero does it, and easy cd creator does it as well. If you are still getting pauses, then its the mp3 or whatever file you are using that has the silence in the track, not the software.

ok well what software are you using? Nero and easy cd creator have no pause between tracks when you choose that option.

Nero has no problems burning tracks with 0 pausing in between them; done them plenty of times.

Some mp3's do have a *TINY* amount of silence. You won't notice it when playing it out, but if you burn them back to back you will hear it. I suggest ripping your mp3's to WAVE with WinAmp -> there's an option to remove any silence at the beginning of an mp3 when you do so.

it looks to me like this is a problem with the mp3 standard. Mp3s only come in certain sizes, a certain amount of frames , the mp3s are almost never exactly the size as a multiple of these frames and therefore there will be a tiny bit of silence at the end of the track. (the frames are only a fraction of a second) I use vorbis ogg files which store the exact amount of silence within the file so that the player knows when the music actually ends and thus can achieve gapless playback, i have also heard that the latest versions of LAME do something similar but i have never tried or researched this.

edit: hmm this made a rather large assumption that you were burning mp3s

Use Nero. When you put a mix with multiple traks the mix will pop up in the burn window. If you look to the right of each track in that window it will have 2 sec next to all the tracks. If you want to get rid of that you need to double click on each track and a new window will pop up. I think this window is called the edit window. Well, in this window you will see an spot where it states that the track will have a 2 second pause. All you need to do is change it to 0 seconds and hit O.K. Do this to all the tracks EXCEPT the first one.
