have u read the sticky named "READ HERE BEFORE YOU POST"? i guess not. you'll find a list of programs there.

http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...threadid=152236

btw, be carefull with terms like 'best'. there isn't really a BEST program. check out the demos and pick the one you like most.

It's not really creating music if you use Ejay, it's just mixing a couple of loops.

Well, it's always good to start somewhere. Dance Ejay can be a great way to start and get a feel for how music can be built with different elements. Certainly not for creating anything original, but as i said just to get a feel for all the building-blocks of music.

I started out with a tracker programme on amiga in the begginning of the 90's.

As stated before, there really is no *best* program. It's just really up to the user and his/her skills. Then ofcourse there is difference in soundquality, but as a beginner that isn't really an issue, i guess.

If i were you i'd go out and buy Reason and/or cubase SX. Or you could try buzz or or something like that. Heck just anything that can produce a sound

Good luck.

That's how all electronic music is made though. You press a couple of buttons and the computer makes a song for you.

Yea. There is no best software. It's not all about what software u have. It's how the person uses it.
