How do I create a Fat power Kick?

How do I achieve something like KICK1 as shown below? Fat, strong and powerful.

I tried using 3 kick together and cut each kick at certain freq to create a new kick and i had compressed it as well but, how come I still cant achieve something like KICK 1? What I did as shown was KICK 2. Its small, short and not powerful enough.

Can someone guide me how to create something like Kick 1 as like I tried using 3 kick together but the result was like sh*t. Appreciate it alot for those helping me. Thanks a million.. I tried alot of ways but still it will never work out as wat it is..

Heres the sample and pic of the Fat Strong kick.

The key here is using the right effects. Try putting some hard ass compression on it, EQ it so there will be more mid-low freqs, and finally put some distortion effect all over it.

For starters kick 1 has an eq'd snare/hh which is what provides that in your face attack, and kick 2 doesn't. Kick 2's low end(<600hz) is around 20db quiter compared to kick 2, and doesn't have nearly enough sustain

Do you ahve it? LOL

i had the delay plugin only.
-------------------------

I had read that TranceProductions.

But it simple that I still unable to get the kick to sound longer meaning to substain longer. I tried to compress as hard as possible.. Darn..

Now is how do I have to do to create the kick be as long as KICK 1? Thats my major qtn mark on my head.

I know about Compressor/Eq but then.. Kick 2 is the result of wat i got.

Just a note: I wouldn't take those pics as accuratly comparing the two kicks, as one is zoomed in to 0.462 seconds, and the other is zoomed to 1.739 seconds.

Oh. I took that pic from Battery though. Didnt notice abt the zoom.

By the way. base on that KICk 2, Do i actually have to normalise, compressed hard and output gain much to achieve something like KIC 1???
