you won't get very far here with that ^^^^attitude...
You can't expect many replies or downloads as a complete newbie, to the site and to mixing. There is so much here to check out, not everybody can go through everything that's up. It takes time.
Also, I think it's very daring to post your "first" mix. How long did you mix before you made this one? I had a long way to go before I would anyone listen to my mixes. In the beginning I didn't need anyone to know that I need to improve.
If I have some time, I will go through one of your mixes.

the tracklisting is very good ! ppl first check the tracklisting and
then decide to dl or not and most ppl dl it bcuz they saw the tracklisting...

and R-yeah, I was only letting you know that I was listening to the beginning.. I listened yesterday, it was pretty good. Listening fully this morning, and downloading the 2nd one.

there is one track that's a little cheesy, venga boys sounding, near the beginning.. but the mixing is good, and overall, a nice mix, especially for a first one.

curious, what equipment did you use to mix it?

Even if you don't think they're important... You don't learn from only positive comments! Even if you were a super talent, one can always do better.
You should know that if you post something here you could get comments even if they're not only like 'wow' 'awesome' etc!

and that vengaboys cheasy track...rocks! if u put it in a crowd and u will let them wait for the bass its kinda stupid song but it does the work.

and i bought 2 monthes ago
2 pieces of Pioneer CDJ-100s
and i am using a gemini KL-10 mixer... its kinda sucky and i dont even
have a reciver in my room and i use tape speakers to adjust the mix!
thats why i am sure when i will buy a reciver and speakers (hopefully this weekend) i will hear the mixing well and not like now that i try to adjust with the earphones together cuz sometime i think i mix bad but its the tape speakers that cant hole the bass...

so i am keep praticing but only when i have time cuz i am in the army!
damnit no time!.

oh and all i learned alone with no help. (nothing to be proud about but i think it matters)

I prefer vinyl, but don't have the money for decks yet, so I just keep collecting records. and for now I practice on my computer with

your mix is good, the mixes are all great, and the tracks are good too. I'm not much of a house fan, so it didn't make me cream my pants or anything, but overall really good. specially considering your monitoring.

I'm downloading the second one now. 16% done, it's going REAL slow.

*edit* the download died. and now I have to reboot. oh well. I'll get it after lunch.

*edit2* I got it now. listening.. I don't like the vocals at 5:33 or so, sounds cheesy. but that's just my taste in music. the mixing is good. the bass is clipping a bit though, like at 8 minutes in.. probably because of your monitoring, you couldn't tell if it was the signal or the speakers that made it sound clipped. but it's very obvious in the mix. you can tell in winamp, use the waveform display, and if the waves are being truncated at the top and bottom you know it's clipping.

*edit3* pretty good overall. but the last mic at about 65minutes in is REALLY bad. like leave the dancefloor and go outside for a smoke break bad. I liked the first one better.

I hope you don't mind my comments, I figure you wanted criticism. I have made bad mixes before. even hour long sets that were almost perfect, except for the last mix. I delete the file when that happens, it just doesn't suffice to have it pretty good, it has to be PERFECT for me.

of course, that is why I have yet to make a full mix I am satisfied with. I'll let you know when I get a mix, then you can tear it apart, like I have done to yours.
